Error Message: "A File That Is Required to Run Search Companion Cannot Be Found"

The Problem:-When I try to search for a file, I get receive the following error message:
A file that is required to run search companion cannot be found. You may need to run setup.

CAUSE:-This may happen if Search Companion files may be damaged.

RESOLUTION:-
Log on to the computer by using an account with administrator permissions.

Start>Run>%SystemRoot%\Inf>ok.

Locate the srchasst.inf file.

Right click it and select Install. You'll need your XP CD or, if you have Service pack installed then extract the files from the Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 folder.

Remember Windows\Inf folder is a hidden folder,so enable Windows Explorer options to show hidden files and folders before proceeding.
